In the fall of 2009, an offer to perform shows in smaller venues led us to reimagine our setlist at the time. Our goal was to retrofit the songs to a quiet, acoustic setting that would enable our setup to be more portable.

This single mic recording from November 24th, 2009 captures one of our early practices in this format. However, these arrangements would remain with us from this point forward. You'll also hear the sound of cars passing by. Shifting chairs. Voices in another room. There are moments in the recordings where we stop briefly to sort something out, or shift tempo, or laugh at ourselves.
